“Google” isn’t just a really cool place smart people work it’s also a verb. Obviously one that requires an advertiser’s attention. So how can you make it work for your business? The most popular and easiest way is pay-per-click ads (or PPC since we’re abbreviating everything these days). You only pay if someone clicks the ad.

We touched on this with Facebook retargeting. These are the ones where you’re looking for a local internet provider, search a few sites and decide to move on. You decide to look at your favorite news site and all of a sudden an ad appears on the side of that website with the exact offer you were just looking at.
